A History Of FUN
In 1987, the first TUMBLEBUS® was created from a former school bus, because kids need to be ACTIVE! Kids need to have FUN! Over the next 32 years, there were approximately 300 mobile TUMBLEBUS® sold throughout the United States including Hawaii and Canada. TUMBLEBUS® is not a franchise. Each mobile business is independently owned and operated and several are still operating today.
In September 2015, Corey and Lindsay Wall purchased the company from Brenda Scharlow, the founder of TUMBLEBUS®. They had a desire to see more kids become active and learn that fitness can be FUN! How do you reach more kids? Create something that can go anywhere! In January 2020, the Toby mat was a vision Lindsay had to expand the reach of Super Stars. It started with a mat, a marker and a friend. After several months and many updates from the original version, the Toby mat became a reality. We now offer two Toby mats (activity and fitness). The new Toby mat is a great way to reach the homes of families, schools, and gyms everywhere - from rural America to large metropolitan areas! We think every child should have at least one Toby mat!
But it doesn't stop with the mat! Utilizing the mat, we have also created an ABC Program. The mat and program can go anywhere, anytime. The structure of each lesson plan is the same - Active , Balance and Coordination, but the themes and skills change to keep it exciting and FUN.

LINDSAY WALL
Gymnastics has been a part of Lindsay’s life since age 5, from competing to coaching. Lindsay grew up in rural America. It all started when a gymnastics gym opened in the next town. Her parents signed her up, because they had decided to wait a year for kindergarten. They wanted her to have something developmental to do for the year waiting for school. What started out as a weekly class turned into a love and passion for gymnastics AND kids.
There is lots of research behind the importance of the physical development of children. It. Is. Crucial. There is also lots of evidence that physical fitness as an adult is vital to our overall health. There are multiple benefits when we challenge ourselves physically. When a person goes from not being able to do something to accomplishing a new skill, the original challenge becomes the future encouragement that we can do more, accomplish more.
Gymnastics is a sport that requires strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and it is progressive. Meaning each foundational skill builds into another. The foundation is essential for later success. Lindsay’s heart's desire is for every child to be active and to gain a foundation of balance, coordination, strength and confidence that sets kids up for success in school and years beyond. She also wants kids to have confidence, learning at a young age that they can overcome and accomplish! Whether it is our ABC Program or the Toby Mat, everything has been designed to help kids build strength and confidence in a FUN and unique way.
